Description
Style meets utility with this unique, late 19th-century combination sash lock and lift. The spring loaded function makes it easy to unlock, lift, lower, and lock any window sash. Made of forged bronze, it's available in six classic finishes.
Dimensions: Latch base: 1 1/2" H x 1 7/8" W. Lift projects 1 3/8". Strike: 11/16" D x 1 7/8" W projects 9/16". Mounted with four 1" slotted wood screws.

Hardware Tip
Double Hung: Double hung windows have top and bottom sashes that slide up and down to open or close.

Great addition to our single-hung sash windows in our 200 year old house. Like any catch for a glass window, they only offer minimal security, but would require someone to break the glass to open the window from the outside, so there is a little bit of comfort there. But they look great and function as they should.

Bronze should do well in corrosive environment near ocean and it works when window butts up against frame at a right angle as opposed to most other latches
