Description

This old-fashioned 2 5/8-Inch Label Holder features a rolled finger grip. It is designed for very lightweight drawers (the grip is rather slight), like those found in roll-top desks, tool cabinets or crafting stations. Crafted from stamped sheet brass, its hand-applied antique finish continues to age gracefully over time, developing highlights with use.

Overall Dimensions: 2 5/8" W x 1 3/8" H. Label cutout (front): 1 13/16" W x 7/8" H.

Hardware Tip

Stamped: Process of forming brass or other metals by using a thin sheet and pressing or stamping it into a mold. Stamped is the same as pressed or wrought and is thin compared with forged or cast.

We used the holders to put on drawers and cabinets for our counter in the office. We needed to label the drawers and cabinets for the teachers so they would know what items are in each drawer and cabinet.

Restoration Artist

Chicago Desk Company Roll Top Desk. I needed to match the period desk with pulls that had the quality and style of the period. I looked at over 20 variations available on the Internet and catalogs and picked these as the best look at a great price. They are so close to original. And the left and right screw holes matched the original holes. In my pictures the lower drawer is the original and the uppers are the House of Antique Hardware Brass.
