Like the island for which it is named, the Nantucket hanging lantern possesses a simple and rugged beauty. Hand made from solid brass, it's aged and distressed to replicate the weathering forces of nature. Panels of rough & seedy glass enhance the authentic colonial character.

I wanted to replace the builder grade pendant light over our front door. I had wanted this simple beautiful simple style but could not find it at the big box stores I tried. I went online and was so happy to find this lantern. It looks just like it does online. The only fault I could find is that it does not hang precisely straight (being square and hanging from a chain several feet long). But I love the seedy glass and would buy this lantern again.
