Lovely Pulls Very Pleased

Comments:

I chalk painted a piece and with the addition of the pulls, I'm very pleased.

Nice Find

Comments:

I am glad I found these but had to do some of my own finish work on the product. The walnut is not stained or finished with a sealer at all so I had to stain and varnish each. I am a woodworker so I am familiar with different wood qualities. Some of the pulls were cut from the sap wood of the tree, therefore be aware that some of the pulls may be very blonde in color because they are made from the inexpensive part of the lumber. I did not like the contrast, so I had to stain them. The antique by hand is great, but it does rub off on your hands.

Really nice at a good price

Comments:

We thought the brass part was really nice. The walnut was not fully finished if you want a smooth finish. We sanded and added a couple of coats of hand rubbed lacquer. That was very easy to do and adds a lot of luster. It turns out really nice. We are enjoying it so much!

Restoring a dresser

Comments:

I'm restoring a 1850 Victorian dresser and want to make it looks just like the day it was made. All the knobs were replaced sometime ago and wooden locks were missing along with the keys. I'm slowing replacing them and what I ordered so far makes the dresser look authentic.

This was the perfect addition to my antique wardrobe.

Comments:

Now I can open and close the doors to the wardrobe with ease!
