This product is durable and built to last. I had first ordered a similar product from a competitor's catalog. When the competitor's strap hinge arrived I was greatly disappointed. What a flimsy hunk of scrap metal.House of Antique Hardware came through with a great solid product. These things can hold up a solid door and easily swing quite a bit of weight. Order the right size and you'll be pleased for sure.

Restoring an old barn on my property and purchased these hinges for the front door. They look period appropriate and have a nice hammered finish. They were easy to install but the supplied screws strip easily. You have to be careful driving the screws.
