Description

Description

These strong steel spikes drive well through planking and heavy timber, like the ones traditionally used for deck and bridge work. Rooted in age-old tradition, our period restoration cut spike square nails are formed much the same way they were 150 years ago. The result? Outstanding durability and holding power, designed to last a lifetime. Once you've experienced the quality and performance of our vintage reproductions, they'll surely become your preferred choice for a variety of applications. Made in the USA.

Nails for sculptural purpose

Comments:

Used these nails for a sculptural project. Metal is new so put a patina on it to make the nails look antique

Jesus Crosses #2

Comments:

I make decorative wall crosses and the nails are part of the process.

Perfect for our purpose!

Comments:

We are giving these spikes away to people who attend our Good Friday services this Easter. We wanted an authentic representation of what would have been used on our Lord Jesus.

Hard to find

Comments:

I searched everywhere and finally found it here. It was exactly what I needed.

Cut spike square nails are the bomb!!

Comments:

So I use these nails to produce art pieces. Everything from fish to Brutalist art pieces. I love these nails for my art pieces

Beautiful and authentic

Comments:

Served the purpose for which I purchased it perfectly!

Amazing character and quality

Comments:

I'm using these authentic cut nails to build an English style workbench and not for some bizarro religious ritual, so I am speaking from practical use experience...these are very high quality fasteners. If Used in a joint where the board is constrained and if positioned properly against the grain, a pilot hole isn't even necessary because the nails will cut and push through the fibers so effectively. If an open ended joint, definitely I don't know how many times I've seen a ""woodworker"" use screws on a joint that just works it's way apart within weeks of use. Garden beds, benches, etc. Put down your cordless drill, cut a proper joint and nail it for reinforcement and job's a good one.

Nice nails!

Comments:

I will use these as embellishments on art quilts

I will purchase these again. Meets my needs perfectly.
