Cupboard Turn with Large Ebonized Wood Knob

It's taken decades for me to find a product like this one, but it is still not exactly what I need. I want to replace knobs on kitchen cabinets without making new holes, and this looks like it would work. I also want to be able to turn the knobs so that the cabinet doors won't swing open in an earthlink. But gosh, I need it to be mid century modern style in chrome, not antique style.

Used for pulls on antique side by side and china cabinet.

I was restoring an antique wardrobe and contacted House of Antique Hardware since I was missing the lock that was in the door. I had no idea what would fit, or what type lock was appropriate. They were very willing to help me, and Ian and I exchanged several e-mails to determine what would be best. In one exchange he suggested this turn latch, and it was perfect! It works and looks wonderful. The only thing I would change is that the ""stem"" of the latch is not a standard size so I was unable to exchange the black knob for something more in keeping with the color and style of the wardrobe. So I painted the knob and decorated it, and it works fine. Do business with these folks if only for their customer service!

We wanted to put this on a glass case so that it wouldn't need a lock. Unfortunately it is not in use because of very long shipping so we left original lock in place.

We looked everywhere for a know and latch that would work with an antique kitchen cabinet we restored. The cupboard door was warped from years outside. Finally, we found these knobs and they were just what we were looking for. Even though the door is warped, the turned latch holds the door completely closed. I have told other people restoring old furniture about them. Thanks for carrying them. The size was right, the shape too and it looks great on the restored cabinet.
