Even prettier in person

I've always said I would get push button light switches when I bought a home. I was able to make that dream come true with House of Antique Hardware. Will be buying more.
Exactly as pictured in the catalogue
Comments:
Great design, although it would be better suited for a Victorian, it seems to work OK in my Craftsman kitchen which has a lot of natural wood. I was not expecting the height clearance needs of the cover and had to raise or lower a few switch and plug boxes to allow the covers to fit without cutting the chair rail, but that mistake was on me, as the picture clearly shows the height, but I wish it was mentioned in the specifications that an extra 1/2"" clearance was needed top and bottom over the standard switch/plug cover. The antique brass covers that I got for my bedrooms are beautiful and make the nickle finish covers look like they are missing something, Hopefully I will try antiquing them in the near future to see if I can attain the same depth of finish as the antique brass plates have.
Great communication, as advertised
Comments:
It dresses up the room and won't tarnish or discolor.
Pretty design

These are very beautiful. I bought several for my Victorian house and had to go with a more simple design when needing a 4 gang plate. When compared to the others, I found this one a bit flimsy and not as nice as the Ovolo design so I returned them all and went with Ovolo for everything. These were also a bit too ornate for my taste. They are more Art Nouveau then Victorian.
Really bright gold
Comments:
I had a hard time choosing the switch cover but ultimately selected this gold one. It's beautiful but a little too shiny for me. Will reorder for me, but if you are looking for gold, this is beautiful!
This Antique reproduction faceplate is stunning! Detailed!
Comments:
I am refurbishing a 1924 classic Texas Victorian, The house still had push button old switches and plates upstairs ( with old cloth wiring!!)- so all of that came out so we could install new -- these were perfect addition - they match the victorian looking ceiling fans we installed. I am very pleased with the end result. I was also very pleased with the thickness and weight. This faceplate really brings it all together, nice thick detail, a weighty and pronounced decor. Really emblematic of the victorian times of embellishment and excess!
Very period
Comments:
These were used to replace more plain push plates in a Victorian home. They are not as heavy as some of the other Signature Hardware push button designs, but they add a special accent which has received grand reviews from visitors.
