Our authentic New England-style Strap Hinge with Whale-Tip Design is the perfect combination of charm and durability. This traditional accent is made of cast iron and features a textured surface and black powder-coat finish. Choose from two length options.

Dimensions:
12" - 2 3/4" H x 12 3/8" W overall. Thickness: 1/8". Hinge leaf: 1 1/4" W. Strap w/o knuckle: 10 5/8" W . Load Rating: 25 lbs. per hinge.
18" - 3 1/2" H x 18 1/4" W overall. Thickness: 1/8". Hinge leaf: 1 3/8" W. Strap w/o knuckle: 16 3/8" W. Load Rating: 40 lbs. per hinge.

For best performance and to prevent rust, iron and steel hardware should be regularly maintained. After installation check for scratches or chips in the surface and re-coat periodically as needed.
