Description
Our Square Sash Weight (5 lb.) easily combines with other size weights to create the proper counterbalance for smooth operating windows. When stacked together for instance, one 3 lb. and two 1 lb. take up the same space as one 5 lb. while moving just as smoothly within the window pocket. Ideal for use on new construction or as replacements for damaged or lost items.

Clever design but fails because the square ends hang up

Clever stackable design but fails because the square ends hang up on each other. Original design in my home are like torpedoes and have rounded ends that don't hang up in double hung window boxes. Building a new window I did nor have weights and I had to buy something. I'll make a rounded end to solve this problem.
Delivery was fairly fast considering the times

Used the weights to provide counterbalance to a vertical gate via pulleys and steel cable. The 5lbs increments allowed me to adjust the weight of the gate perfectly.
