Cast Iron Boot Scraper

When the company we hired to replace all the homes walkways mistakenly covered the boot scraper with concrete we felt terrible. Part of the homes history gone! This is a good replacement at a realistic price!

We have a colonial style house and try to use authentic style hardware and accessories when we can find them. This boot scrape is identical to the ones we used to see in Colonial Williamsburg which we do not see for sale anymore. We were delighted to find this one and have it at our back gate to scrape our boots/shoes. It adds an authentic look to our home.

Living in the Midwest can sometimes be wet and muddy. With a new home remodel, we didn't want the dirt or mud on our new wood flooring. At the old farmhouse they had one near the old door. I knew as soon as I seen it, we had to have at least one. We chose to insert ours directly into the sidewalk.
