Description

Our Bridge-Style Shelf Bracket is inspired by the catenary arch design of the early 20th century, Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge in Pennsylvania. A simple design gives this minimal bracket a versatile quality, making it ideal for just about any room. Made of sturdy cast aluminum, a set can support up to 400 lbs. Due to the potential for carrying substantial loads, professional installation with blocking and sturdy fasteners is recommended.

Dimensions: 10 3/4" H x 10 3/4" L x 1 7/8" W. Flanges: 3/8" thickness. Fasteners: #8 x 1 1/2" wood screws. Rated for: 400 lbs. per pair.
*When supporting heavy items, long screws fastened directly into blocking or wall studs are recommended.

Hardware Tip

Cast: Process where molten brass, iron or other metals are poured and formed in molds often made of sand. The products made in this manner are often thick and heavy.

Beautiful, well designed bracket

Comments:

This is a beautiful, well designed, substantial bracket. The brackets are attached firmly but fairly discretely. If you have shopped around, you will see that most brackets show bulging, ill-placed screws that distract from the design. Not the case with this one.

Bridge brackets

We used these brackets on a glass shelf about framed prints of Oregon Coast bridges and lighthouses. Perfect for our wall. Very impressed.

The most amazing brackets

Used for open shelves for kitchen remodel. They hold up 2 inch oak butcher block 4 foot shelves. Beautiful look.

This is exact;y what I ordered

This item is rated to support very heavy objects; I haven't installed it yet to hold a shelf with sink, but it appears extremely robust and I have no doubt it will do its job.
