The strap measures 13/16" at the widest point and the pad measures 5/8" by 1 3/4". These hinges measure 1/16" in thickness and the hinge pins are not removable.

I was in trouble. My rustic armoire that just fit in my studio apartment had a broken hinge. I tried all the DYI large box stores. Nothing fit. Finally I emailed pics to HoAH and after a telephone conference with a very nice man found hinges that fit and worked. It took my handyman about an hour to install. I'm back in business and my studio apartment is back to being cute and welcoming!

Used as shutter hinges

I used these hinges as shutter hinges on Western Red Cedar shutters. They are plenty strong for this and look great. I use stainless steel screw on cedar but the included screws are very nice.
