Didn't need it, but wanted it.

Comments:

Wound up returning it because it didn't fit what I needed, but such a solid feeling, top quality product that I wished I could have kept it.

Looks Amazing!

Comments:

The Broken Leaf door pulls look and feel amazing! They are very sturdy too. I'm very happy they offer this design. They are obviously hand made as they are not straight nor plumb, that is normal. To install them, you'll need to recess into the wood in some creative ways, chisels, mortising drill bits and/or plunge route are a must! We had success hammering the back to straighten it out, but given the price tag, I was very reluctant to do this (use a towel to protect the stunning finish if you have to hammer it). Pretty nerve wracking install.

Only for professionals

Comments:

We had previously purchased and installed a House of Antiques recessed door pull and was very happy. This one is beautiful and would have looked perfect on our doors. However, the plate is only about 1/8th inch larger than the circle. If you don't perfectly cut your mortise, your mistake will be visible forever. I am sorry that it has to be returned.
