Step 2 Choose Your Backset

The "backset" is the distance from the edge of your door to the center of the hole bored in your door. Choose from 2⅜" (standard) or 2¾". Measure carefully to ensure proper fit.

Choosing a Keying Option for Your Entry Door Set

Single Cylinder Lock:

Key operated from the outside, thumbturn operated from the inside.

Double Cylinder Lock:

Key operated from both inside and outside.
Note: Key required for egress.
