Scroll Design Solid Brass Floor Register - With Adjustable Louver
Description
The louver is a steel housing with pivoting fins, which increases or decreases air flow through the floor register. The louver is controlled by lever adjustment and can be easily removed if no air flow control is needed.
Boot Size refers to the cut-out in the floor that the register fits into. Register Size refers to the outside measurement of the register face plate. To ensure a proper fit, always order registers based on the boot size.

Added the finishing touch

Replaced flooring with hardwood, old registers were old. beaten and bent. Replaced all registers with these brass registers and am very happy. A very much needed upgrade from the originals.
Antique Look Floor Registers
Comments:
I bought a whole bunch of these for my 1910 house that I am lovingly restoring. I added air conditioning to the first floor and used these for my vent coverings. They look phenomenal in my hardwood floors, bathroom tile, kitchen, just everywhere they look so great!
Beautiful Floor Register

The color goes perfectly with our blue-gray tile floor.

Best quality found
Comments:
Installed new hardwood floors and could not find quality registers. These were made from all metal, no plastic and look great on the new floor.

Purchased a new used home for the summer months to escape the desert summer heat of Phoenix. The home needs some...a lot...of work. One aspect of this updating is replacing the floor registers. The current ones, of which there are several, are beat up with broken metal dampers. Ordered 17 of the above pictured floor vents in the Antique Brass finish with a couple in antique pewter finish. Because of the age of this house, the sizing tolerance of the floor vents is very tight. Consequently, it was necessary for me to remove the 1/4 inch round head screws on each long side of the dampers on most of these registers in order for them to fit flush to the floor. I need to replace them with flat head 1/4 inch screws. The old registers do not have screws on the long sides of the dampers. Now having said that, I will keep them and do what is necessary to assure they are functioning and the grill face plate is kept from moving. They are not as heavy as the ones being replaced. The grill face plate is not completely flat but has a slight rise about a quarter inch into the plate from the edge. I would have preferred a completely flat grill plate but...I can live with it. It is still a lovely item, I just needed to figure out how to get them to fit and ironically not all of them need to be adjusted.
Pretty and heavy grills for the floor

I first bought the less expensive registers that aren't solid brass. They don't look as nice as these do. These look great. I'm very happy with them.
So strong!
Comments:
I had bought another register from the box stores and when my husband stepped on it, the register bent. This is so strong, he can jump on it and nothing bends. Plus it is beautiful and so easy to install!
