Tropical Parrot Push Plate In Antique-By-Hand Finish

the finish is great very happy with it my house is over 100 yrs it had a pull on a swing door took it off and my hubby put the new push plates on thanks so much for great workmanship

I rate this push plate a 5 out of 5 if the finish had been a little more like the image on the site. I understand that images can vary screen to screen but our seemed so off, I actually thought we hadn't received the proper items. The darker tones are virtually non existent. Hand finished products will obviously vary but this one was not what we were expecting. *This being said: I contacted customer support and they were able to verify that this was in fact the antiqued-finish and understood why were confused. Without any hesitation, they graciously offered to do a return or exchange. We decided to keep them, as they are still beautiful and work for our project. Would I recommend them? Yes. Just understand they might not have the dark/light contrast that you might expect from the image on the site.

I searched extensively for antiques and reproductions to cover unsightly old lock screw holes in 1929 Emery and Roth design building stainless steel door and this worked perfectly.

As this was the first time ordering from your company, I initially bought only one just to see what the quality was like. Was very impressed with the quality so decided to order a second one. I use both to cover the outer and inside mail slot opening on my front door as I decided to close the opening. Have received nothing but compliments on the design and finish selection that blend so very well on my old door and with the new outer iron entry gate to my house.

Very nice and stout push plate that dresses up a door. Graceful tropical vine circles around the plate and frames the parrot making it a very attractive addition to your home or office. Placing it on the door is a snap. Suggested tools are Straight Med Slot Screw Driver, measuring tape, level. The screws that come with it are longer than 1/2 the depth of a standard interior door necessitating offsetting the plates by a minimum of 6 mm (1/4 in) to avoid them hitting each other; other option is to replace them with shorter screws from your local hardware. None-the-less you won't squawk about this push plate and visitors to your home or office will surely admire them.

I like unusual things and this piece was a beautiful, unusual way to add some elegance to an ordinary push door.

We were looking for a push plate that was missing from one of our 1920's home swing door. This was the perfect finish and design -- it adds a great looking detail to a highly visible door from the living room. Color is exactly as it appears on the website and fine details are great.
