Antique Door Restoration

Comments:

Big box stores simply do not have the right size strike plates for older doors. This strike plate fit right into the original door frame and accomodated the 1885 lock hardware perfectly.

Good ""universal"" replacement

Comments:

Used this to replace the broken strike on my 90+ year old front door, worked great for me.

Grateful to find something that works!

Comments:

With a 1928 home that still has a lot of original hardware and features, it can be a challenge to find small pieces that work in non-standard situations. We were thrilled to find strikeplates that accomodate the variety of old door/lock combinations that we have on our home, and feel much better having good, solid hardware in our front door.

Comments:

ok

Plate good, supplied screws a problem

Comments:

Plate very good, met special need. Installation screws supplied not suitable for installation in wood, not able to find exact wood screw counterpart, so final look adequate but not perfect. Still, very happy with overall result.

Strike up the brass band

Comments:

Plates were very heavy material and were finished very well
