Hardware Tip
How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette.

Beautiful
Great product, definitely will but again.
Comments:
The knob assembly fit perfectly in our old door lock. The black knobs matched exactly the over 100 years ones we replaced. Once in place it's hard to tell it isn't the original. Extremely pleased with ease of installation also.
Practical buy
Comments:
I had to buy a few of these porcelain knobs (in black). They're a great alternative to the glass knobs in terms of price while maintaining period accuracy. I was pleased to discover my neighbor, who lives in a house of the same period, had older but similar porcelain knobs! Just remember that with older wooden doors you may have to cut the shank to avoid loose knobs.
