Description

Our crystal clear octagonal glass knobs and beaded rosettes create a fresh and elegant ensemble that's never out of style. These modern reproduction knobs feature top-quality glass for extra clarity and a solid-brass shank, while the rosettes are beautifully crafted solid, forged brass. Available in five classic finishes, you'll have plenty of options for every room in the house. For use with both pre- and non-bored doors.

Dimensions:
Octagonal glass knobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. Beaded rosettes measure 3 1/4" diameter.
Latch Dimensions: Backset: 2 3/8". Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W. Strike plate: 2 1/4" H x 1 3/4" W.
Standard door range: 1 3/8" thick +/- (range variable 1-1/4" to 2")

A beautiful, period-appropriate accoutrement

To begin with, this is far prettier than any picture could depict. My home is an English Cottage Revival style, built in 1928, of which I am the third owner. I have replaced several solid wood doors with those having glass inserts, in order to let more light into my home. For these, I have ordered hinges and doorknob sets from House of Antique Hardware. All are perfect! This time, I needed a knob set for a replacement door to my basement. The existing door is a very odd size, and created too narrow a passageway. Since I had to replace the door anyway, I wanted to splurge on a beautiful crystal doorknob set. If you are on the fence about something like this, order with confidence. These are authentic reproductions which will proudly stand alongside the originals. So, so happy I found this company!
