How very lovely this is!

Comments:

Oh, my. In 2017, I drove from my native Michigan to South Carolina, to search for a house to purchase. It took 3 trips to find it, but I finally settled on a Queen Anne Victorian, complete with wrap around veranda, a sleeping porch off the master bedroom, and a 7 foot original clawfoot tub. Content doesn't begin to describe how much I love living here. But, unfortunately, the electrician who viewed the house to give me his estimate neglected to secure the door tightly, we had a major storm and I wound up with broken pipes and extensive water damage. So I hired a man to repair and paint the kitchen (which hasn't been given fresh paint in way too many years) and I have searched for a very long time for a hanging fixture to go above the kitchen sink. I think I found it! I believe my electrician will be able to remove the nasty old florescent fixture and hang this beauty there. What a delight to see such beauty while cooking! Thank you for offering such an elegant fixture. My house was dated by a historian to have been built between 1865 - 1870. She is still solid and secure, so I think she deserves this and it will make me smile -- even when faced with dirty dishes
