Description

The Avalon Collection makes a bold statement. With two classic finishes to choose from, this crisp, clean design is suited for modern homes of any era. Can be mounted flush against the wall, or raised 5/8" for a shadow effect. Comes complete with mounting screws and risers.

Dimensions: 4 1/2" H - width varies per item. Projection: 3/8" (flush mount) or 1 1/8" (raised mount).

Hardware Tip

Zinc alloys are very strong and corrosion resistant, often used when fine detail in metal casting or stamping is desired.

Beautiful - could use anchor drill bit size

Comments:

Beautiful house numbers - no idea what size drill bit for anchors, posts screwed in all the way on 1 of 3 numbers. I left that one looser to match height of other 2, then secured with glue. Posts not grip worthy to turn further, metal threads. Love the numbers, more of a project than anticipated. Used wetted watercolor pencil to mark wood for anchor holes. I got 3/4"" anchors (instead of 1"" provided) to match 1"" thick wood sign for the brushed nickel house numbers.

Good numbers but no drilling template

Numbers look great but no template is provided. Unfortunate that the buyer is left to guess on the correct kerning of the numbers.

Good value for well made product

Comments:

I purchased these 4 1/2 house numbers for our daughter's California 1910 Arts & Crafts bungalow. She had kept it very traditional for 15 + years and was looking for a change when repainting the exterior. The price was a very good value for the same product from other stores. Dad will install them soon, experienced handyman...gotta be with owning an old bungalow home.

Clean modern style was a nice update to a 1930s Tudor. Invisible mounting is nice, so you don't see screws.
