Disappointed in color

Hoping to match some vintage French chandeliers but color of these were orange due to a red sealer. Luckily they were real brass so I was able to disassemble and remove coating by soaking and scrubbing with paint stripper ( back plate is painted and must be removed or paint will dissolve and wear heavy gloves- paint stripper is nasty stuff!) Came out shiney brass, no red and with treating with a brass aging chemical and a quick polish with a wire brush I am very happy with them. This was a lot of work for an expensive fixture but a similar real antique is very hard to find an VERY expensive so if you're an OC/DC gotta be perfect gal like me go for it. If not talke to HOAH experts and get something else.
