Close, but no cigar

Comments:

This knob is cast with a stamped (wrought) decorative cap, and backplate is also stamped. I must have missed that information when I read the description or I would not have purchased it. The screw is white metal, not ""antiqued."" That being said, the knob does look good to the casual observer, but upon close examination is an obvious reproduction and not a good value for the price, at least for this perfectionist.
