Description

This fine reproduction of a late 18th century Chippendale-pattern 2 1/2-inch center-to-center pull is a beautiful enhancement for drawers and cabinets alike. Cut from sheets of solid brass, it’s ideal for new furniture, or as a replacement for a worn or damaged piece. It features a smooth, elegant handle for a pleasant feel, and the sturdy back plate will stand up to years of repeated use. The polished finish is left unlaquered, allowing it to age gracefully, just like the antique originals.

Dimensions. Back plate: 2" H x 3" W. Center to center: 2 1/2".

Hardware Tip

Un-lacquered brass is polished brass without the surface coating to keep the brass from tarnishing. Items that are un-lacquered may be darkened with our aging solution to a desired patina.

Making an Old Server Look New

This server has gone through at least three families. We refinished the base molding. The new hardware really makes this look like an antique.

quality brass hardware

Comments:

I build furniture as well as refinish antiques. I've found it difficult to find vendors that sell quality solid brass hardware. I've been in the process of refinishing an old desk & just installed the hardware I ordered in Dec. I've now added you to my list of vendors. The only problem I had was the length of the #8 bolts which I replaced - no big deal!

Small Order, Big Satisfaction

I needed to replace the drawer pulls on a Victorian washstand that was missing one, and found just what I wanted at House of Antique Hardware. Since they were bright brass, I also got a bottle of aging liquid and in seconds the brass looked like it had been on the little washstand for 100 years. Very easy to do, and very easy to install the hardware. Thank you so much!
