I buffed the hooks to remove any oxidation. Next the hooks were cleaned in acetone. Once dry they were patinated in a brass dulling solution to a very dark bronze. Once rinsed and dryed they were 0000 steel wooled to high light the castings. Now onto a turn of the century quarter sawn oak mirrored hall tree to welcome guests to out home.

Antique Brass Hall Tree Hooks

The hall tree was a gift that needed new hooks and a bit of TLC. This hall tree is very old and the hooks required a bolt for each hook. Most hooks are screwed in. The brass hooks I purchased were just like the originals (actually better). Fit perfectly.
