Pair of Large Solid-Brass Butterfly Offset Cabinet Hinges - 1 3/4" x 2"

Sixty-five years ago, my grandfather crafted a 4 foot high doll cupboard for me. It had glass inserts in the upper doors made workable with rather ugly chrome hinges. That was the problem! He couldn't find attractive off-set hinges, narrow enough to hold those glass frames either!! When I stripped the old paint and sanded the wood I found my grandfather's frugality,,,a piece of oak,maple, cherry from his farm. The search began for hinges that would be attractive, offset, and have a leaf of less then 1 1/4 inches. Local hardware,even those dealing in antiques had nothing. A woodworking friend offered antique hardware catalogues. Again, a dead-end. Then one day while e-mailing my daughter about our dilemma, House of Antiques popped up on my screen. I NEVER click on those ad. But desperation won. After a brief search of exactly want I needed, not just one, but several choices popped up on my screen!! Needless to say I am elated to be able to finish this treasure. And I know Grandpa would love it. Thank you HoA!!
