Description

This delightful forged brass cabinet knob reminds us of an upturned acorn squash! Around 1900, fluted knobs such as this were wildly popular for interior doors and cabinets, and were considered "colonial" in style. While it's certainly suited to traditional homes, we think this knob is a wonderful choice for modern interiors as well! Choose from an array of period perfect finishes.

Knob diameter: 1 1/4". Base diameter: 13/16". Projection: 1 3/8". Two sizes of mounting bolts are included: 1 1/8" & 1 1/2".

Hardware Tip

Forged: Process of forming brass or other metals into a particular shape by heating the metal and hand pounding or cutting with high pressure dies. Items made in this way are very strong and heavy.

One of a kind create your own style no big box look for me. These pulls and knobs really set the tone for my 1895 farmhouse /victorian kitchen.

Perfect knob

Comments:

When we purchased our home, the previous homeowner had used the same inexpensive knobs throughout the entire house. For the kitchen, we wanted to give it a fresh look without redoing it all. These colonial revival knobs worked beautifully in our 1920s house and modern kitchen; I love the way they feel, their look, and finish. Hands down the most affordable way to get a clean new look. Since then, we've purchased bar and bin pulls for other drawers, and glass knobs for the bathrooms, AND all new hardware for every door. It's all in the details, and we are so happy to know that we're getting a good product. Thank you House of Antique Hardware!
