A House of Antique Hardware exclusive, this charming picture rail hook is an authentic reproduction based on an original that dates back to the turn-of-the-20th century. Decorative motifs – including bead-and-reel, ribbon-and-bow, and a gently swaged flower garland – echo the neoclassical British Adam style. And since it’s made from solid brass, this hook is sturdy as well as pretty. Available in darker and lighter finishes.

Hardware Tip
Picture rail hooks hang on top of picture rail molding. The hanging cord is then attached to a picture frame and hung on the bottom of the hook.

I am super impressed with the picture hanging hooks hardware in general, but this little stamped piece is wonderful. While it may not appear so, it has some heft to it - not at all flimsy or light. It's pretty and not overly ornate. I'm using two, hanging relative small items, but would feel comfortable hanging something larger (in the medium range) without any hesitation.

The hooks are so easy to use. Our home has picture railings so the hooks pop on them and do not destroy the walls.
