Description

With its rugged texture and weathered finishes, this round knob and rectangular rosette set is a perfect choice for your colonial, Tudor or other rustic style of home. The wrought steel handles and rosettes are hot forged, distressed and relieved to achieve an appearance of graceful wear. Equipped with heavy-duty mechanics, this unique set will give you a lifetime of quality performance.

Door set dimensions: Round steel knobs are 2 1/8" in diameter. Rectangular rosettes measure 4 3/8" H x 2 5/8" W.

Latch dimensions: Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W.
Standard door range: 1 3/8" to 2" thick.

Great rustic finish & solid BUT

Comments:

The simple, rustic design compliments my farmhouse renovation and the product quality is excellent BUT - - while the knob is round from the front, the profile has an odd, flared shape (not visible in product pictures) which gives it a modern appearance and makes it feel uncomfortable on your hand when you grasp the knob. I wanted a product that might have been seen in an early 20th century farmhouse - -and this isn't it. Kept them anyway as I didn't have time to reorder. Otherwise, great product AND great service.

solid and handsome for Victorian home

Comments:

I ordered two knobs for my exterior doors in humid climate of New Orleans. They are solid in feel, simply elegant, and perfect complement to lacy ironwork of wrought iron porch railings. Installation on 100+ year old doors required professional assistance but that was because of door's irregularities I think!
