Late Victorian Style Cast Brass Screen Door Hinge

Add a little zing to that old screen door with this hinge and the matching door hardware. I stripped and refinished the door and added these and it takes it to a new dimension.

The self-closing hinges that were original to the house (1880s) had broken years before I bought it, so the previous owner had jury-rigged a tight spring to close the screen door. It never worked properly and always slammed the door with a hard slap. These are a different design, but they look original, and they work like a charm.

These are just great ... very easy to install ... look great and works better then I hoped for.

My husband made a double screen door for the front door of our 1876 Victorian and the hardward used fit right into the style of the house. Very pleased with the outcome.
