Description

What a warm and welcoming addition to your front porch! Hand-crafted in Pennsylvania, our Toll House Suspended Wall Lantern is a faithful recreation of Early-American designs. Each light is cut, formed and soldered by skilled artisans, to capture the charm and craftsmanship of the originals. Available in solid copper (with brass accents) or solid brass, both with a weathered-antique finish and clear-glass panels.

Dimensions: 17" H x 6" W. Projection: 6". Lighting: Fixture uses one medium base bulb, max 60 watt (bulb not included). UL damp rated.

Hardware Tip

For an authentic period lighting effect, use our genuine Edison-style bulbs in your fixture. These carbon filament bulbs are great for exposed sockets and cast a warm, mellow light.

Beautiful heirloom-quality craftsmanship

There are many local shops in the coastal region I live in to buy handmade traditional colonial and nautical lanterns. When completing an exterior renovation of a Cape Cod historic home, I needed to source a small exterior light which worked with the original antique lighting of the home. Most local fabricators I contacted cited a 8 to 10 week timeline for production. Unfortunately with the deadline I was forced to look for an alternative. I was very skeptical at a lot of colonial look-alikes that I saw online, but ended up finding the house up antique hardware website, and this lantern, which looked perfect online. You never know until you see something in person, but the lantern was really beautiful, high quality, and really exceeded our expectations. We received the lantern about a week from ordering, so service could not have been faster even with a lot of Covid related delays to shipping that I have experienced. I would definitely recommend this product or any similar lanterns on the website and I will definitely be back to source any historic lighting for my home at house of antique hardware.

Wall Lanterns to LOVE
