Shield Pattern Single-Post Bail Pull in Antique-by-Hand - 2 1/4" Width

I had acquired a complete set of elaborately carved bedroom furniture made in the 1930's that was in atrocious condition, but underneath the grime, crinkled varnish, and dreary paint was some absolutely beautiful wood--birds' eye maple, walnut inlay, etc. After painstakingly hand stripping each piece of furniture, I finished it simply with a coat of satin finish polyurethane, and it was gorgeous. The only problem was the hardware was all grungy, bent, etc. So for four-five years I kept looking on-line and in stores for new but ""appropriate"" hardware. Finally found House of Antique Hardware. Gave them a call--the representative was very knowledgeable and pleasant--helped me to find knobs/pulls that worked well together as a set. Purchased them, and installed them. The furniture now looks complete and the hardware is such a perfect compliment to the style. Very pleased!

I have a family heirloom - I have been wanting to have it restored for some time and finally found someone who could do that for me. I wanted to keep the original drawer pulls but they were in need of too much to maintain their original look. I found what was nearly a match! I could not have been more excited!

Handle was broken on China closet door. This handle was able to cover the holes in the door made by the broken handle. The finish also matched the hardware on the cabinet.
