Used these brackets for shelves in my kitchen. Love them and have had many positive comments on them.

-My wife has decorated our timber frame home using a variety of farm type items. These brackets fits in very nicely. Good size for holding a shelf. Couldn't be any nicer.

We're completely remodeling the kitchen (and the rest of the house, too). The kitchen has white cabinets/cupboards and black appliances. Accent colors are jadite and red. For some reason, I've bought a few accessories with a rooster/hen motif. The original plan was to use TWO black brackets for a shelf in front of the window over the kitchen sink. The shelf will hold six different herbs. When we received the first two brackets, we were so impressed, we ordered two more to use in the upper corners of the opening between the kitchen and dining room!
