Description

This late Victorian style casement latch is as practical as it is beautiful. The pendant-like handle pivots up to disengage the latch, but hangs tight to the sash otherwise, making this a great choice for windows with interior shutters or blinds! Made of durable, non-rusting cast brass, it includes three types of keeper - flush, mortise and side mount.

Dimensions. Handle base: 2 1/4" H x 11/16" W. Overall handle length: 3 3/4". Throw: 7/8". Total handle projection: 1 3/16". Surface mounted keeper: 2 1/4" H x 11/16" W x 3/4" projection. Also includes mortise and rim strikes.

Looks great but broke on first use

Comments:

We needed to match latches for two existing casement windows with original hardware and these were a pretty good match and looked nice so they were great for the additional casement windows we added next to the existing ones. Installation was straightforward but upon first crank, the handle snapped off of the mount. Super frustrating. Will replace and hope the second one hold up better.

Unique Latch

After an endless search for a latch that would fit into the door jam of our guest bathroom we are so pleased to find this one! The finish is smooth and even and the feel is weighted and not cheaply made. It functions smoothly and locks the door with no problem.
