Practical and high quality item
Comments:
Very good quality, functions well for both operational and decorative shutters. For decorative shutters, it allows the shutters to be mounted without being flush against the siding, and so it helps to prevent the backside from rotting. For operational shutters, such as mine which are rather long, as they are next to full length French doors, I used them to hold the top of the shutters while I used decorative shutter dogs for the bottom. The catch mechanism is just the right amount of tension - not too hard to release, but also not so easy that they wouldn't hold firmly.
