This sleek and modern casement stay uses friction to hold your window in any desired position. No knob action is necessary and there are no pre-determined stops. Made of premium quality solid brass, available in an array of fine finishes.
Dimensions. 12" Rod, Max. 18 3/4" when extended. The sill mounting base measure 2" x 11/16" and can be mounted either perpendicular (as pictured), or parallel to the stay rod. Window mounting base: 1 3/4" x 9/16". Rod projection from sill: 3/4".

Looks Beautiful, Does Not Work Well

I ordered this product because I liked the appearance, quality and design. It afforded all the things I was looking for in a window adjuster. Unfortunately, it does not perform as well as it looks. It does not hold the window open when there is a mild gust of wind nor does it prevent the glass window from banging shut. At best, it prevents the window from swinging completely back against the wall. At this price, this should be guaranteed.
