A good substitute

Comments:

needed a replacement casement window latch for an old Frank Lloyd Wright home.

Casement window latch

Comments:

I used these latches on some salvaged casement windows that I installed to enclose my bungalow's back porch. They look ""just right"" to me- I wanted hardware that looked like it could have been there 100 years. They work logically and work well to secure the windows closed.

Excellent addition to our front entry door

Comments:

We were very happy to find this particular latch. We were installing a new Rustic door with operational side lights which we needed latches for. These are a great natch for the hardware already on the door and speak easy.

Good quality, I'll buy here again.

Comments:

I used this to be able to easily open and closed double-door window over the kitchen sink.

I am pleased with the window latches

Comments:

The screws provided should be better. You have to drill a pilot hole, as you should. But with ordinary hand pressure, it is very easy to damage the screw head. I think they need to be made of a harder metal.

Latches

Comments:

1st try didn't go as planed , but once figured out they installed fine. Great item. Quality item

love the style, not overly sturdy

Comments:

love the style looks great in our oceanfront cottage. I bought 3 and the first time I used one the handle broke. I had painted in humid weather and it must have stuck, when I used force to opened it the handle broke. I did order another to replace it, the style was just right.

old gold mine

Comments:

works great on these wood windows/shutters

Solid latches

Comments:

I was grateful for the two options for installation. I chose not to use the front facing pieces as I had intended as they were a bit too large and we're crowded on the narrow mullion. It was satisfying to have the side slot pieces right at hand to use instead
