Knobs were used to complete the restoration of my mother-in-laws's dressing table. The dressing table turned out to be mahogany. One side of the piece was warped and cracked. The crack was repaired and the entire piece was sanded to barewood then finished. The knobs matched the finish very well. The rosette adds a touch of class to what was a nondescript piece of furniture.
