Hadley 12" Flush Mount Ceiling Light

I just downsized into a 1930s Craftsman Style Home and was searching for the right light fixtures to replace some the previous owners rather ""undesirable"" choices. I wanted to try and match the style and period of the home and I fell in love with the simple yet beautiful design and finishes of these light fixtures. They were reasonably priced, easy to install and are just the right size for a small to medium size hallway, bedroom or bath. They throw a soft lovely glow with two 60 Watt bulbs. I'm so please how much they've added to the ambiance of the space.

This is a really great looking light with a low profile. We had it installed professionally only because my husband didn't have the time to do it himself. It's in a back hall that's only about 7' high, so we needed something that would not hit anyone's head. This is ideal and very handsome, to boot.

Looks great - was easy to install!

Purchased two brushed nickel lights, to complement other brushed nickel components in bathroom area. Removed old lights, and these new ones fit right over the old systems; minimal rewiring, and no problem attaching to ceiling. So far, holding up well. Finish is like new, even in a damp environment. I'm using LED light bulbs, and the illumination is excellent... also, I don't want to have to change bulbs for the next 20 years or so.

As intended

We used this smaller size (12"") to illuminate very dark stairway to basement, and on back stairs to second floor from first. Very successful, especially with ability to use LED bulbs. We originally ordered 14"" size but they seemed too large for this situation, so we will use them in a larger space. The 2-bulb 12"" size is fine for these dark stairways. As others may have noticed, it is extremely difficult to find light fixtures of any sort that are attractive and tasteful. These were a rare exception which took a lot of looking to find. Light fixtures seem to lead the way when the aesthetics of a culture are in decline. There are truly almost none now available that are pleasing in design. These are.
