Description
A gently rolled handle adds an artisan touch to our 5-Inch Cast-Iron Surface Door and Shutter Bolt. Ideal for colonial or other rustic home styles, it has a textured surface and durable black powder-coat finish. Three strike plate options allow it to be used on a variety of applications from gates and doors to cabinets.
Dimensions: 1 1/2" H x 5" W. Projection: 1". Throw: 5/8". Backplate: 1 1/2" H x 4 3/8" W. Strike: 1 5/8" H x 7/8" W. Extended strike: 1 3/8" H x 1 1/8" W. Surface strike: 1 5/8" H x 1/2" W x 1 1/4" projection.

Hardware Tip
For best performance and to prevent rust, iron and steel hardware should be regularly maintained. After installation check for scratches or chips in the surface and re-coat periodically as needed.

After re-painting door, perfect replacement for cheap dirty old hardware.

Product looks good and functions well. Screws are very soft and the screw heads fail easily and the screw shafts tend to break even with pre-drilled holes. One of the Philips screws on the back came loose after installation. I left the bolt in place because I thought the installation screws might break off when I removed them.
