4" Medium-Duty Surface Bolt in Solid Brass
Description
Our 4-Inch Medium-Duty Surface Bolt is traditionally styled with a large round knob and shapely guides. Finely crafted from solid brass, it features tension springs at the guide to hold the bolt open or closed, while a plush felt lining prevents scuffing when operated. Ideal for windows, French doors, and doors, it comes complete with two strikes.

a solid piece of hardware. the big box piece I replaced was more decorative than functional but this piece hits the spot on looks and function. So glad I discovered The House. Solid brass door stops look amazing, solid forged brass doorbell button looks amazing, solid brass forged swithch plates... well you get the idea. The place is really starting to ""class up"".

Bought the polished nickel version to replace a light duty bolt that failed. Seems to wokr OK after installation, but it is too early to determine for the long term.
