Victorian Floral Pattern Gas Light Shade With 4" Fitter

I have an antique free standing lamp that the shade broke on during a move. I looked all over at local stores for a 4"" fitting and could not find one. When I found the shade on your web site I was so excited. The shade looks antique and fits great!

Trying to locate glass shades with a 4"" base is next to impossible. I needed to replace a set of broken shades in a bathroom and the House of Antique hardware was a great find. The new shades look better than the broken originals!

Wanted to use environmental, economical LED bulb in our ceiling fan. This required an ""open"" fixture or shade. The existing ""Globe"" type shade, which was the original shade, is fine for traditional incandescent compact fluorescent bulbs, but retains too much heat for current LED lighting fixtures.I looked everywhere but couldn't find an an open or attractive fixture which would fit the fan until I found ""House of Antique Hardware"". The 4"" Victorian Floral Gas Shade dramatically improves the appearance of the fan, plus you can now use any LED lightbulb w/o fear of overheating it.

This shade was for a ceiling fan. We could not find the right size any where else. This one fit perfectly. The open end allows more light. Product was as described and well packed for delivery. We are very pleased with this shade.

The only problem we had was that we had to do a bit of tinkering to get the fixture to hang plumb/level

I could not find any Victorian shades at the hone improvement stores, so looked on line and house of antiques had everything I needed and in the correct size. Great addition to my 1898 Victorian home.
