With its stately, yet refined presence, our Valmont Premium Mortise Entry Set lends fanciful, late baroque style. This French design is exquisite in every detail, from elegant scrollwork to lush, classical foliage. Finely cast in solid brass, it features top-quality internal components for smooth operation and long-lasting wear. A perfect choice for any formal style home, it features ornate ribbon-and-wreath round knobs and comes in an array of rich, hand-polished finishes. Made in Italy.
Door set dimensions: Backplates: 14 1/8" H x 3" W. Knobs: 2 11/16" D.
Mortise lock dimensions: Lock case: 6 1/16" H x 3 5/8" W (for 2 1/2" backset) 3 15/16" W (for 2 3/4" backset) x 15/16" thick. Lock face plate: 8" H x 1 1/4" W. Strike plate: 4 7/8" H x 1 1/4" W. The lock includes a Schlage "C" keyway cylinder and 2 standard keys. Standard door thickness: 1 3/4". For thicker doors please call for assistance.
This lock has egress and can cause lock outs if the stop button is not disengaged when exiting the door.
