This simple ogee picture rail is truly a classic. Designed in the Victorian era, it was in continual production through the 1950s! It is typically mounted near the ceiling or about 1' below, or in combination with crown moulding. Made exclusively for painting, it's milled from pre-primed, finger-jointed pine. Sold only in 7.5' lengths, with a 5 piece minimum. Please call for info regarding volume discounts.
Dimensions: 1 5/8" tall x 11/16" projection. The bead is 5/8" in diameter. Please note: for picture molding to function properly, it must be positioned at least 1/4" below a ceiling or other moulding.

Hardware Tip
Finger jointed means that the board is joined together from smaller pieces. The seams are visible and so this type of molding does not stain well.
