Large Stamped Steel Cabinet Latch With Plated Finish

Needed this to replace a missing one on a vintage cabinet that I restored. Hard to find size but luckily House of Antique Hardware had it. Perfect fit for the existing holes from the original hardware.

I was thrilled to finally find large latches! Unfortunately, the big box hardware stores have pushed out the mom and pop hardware stores iny my area. I have only been able to find small latches that don't fit properly. This is the first spot I have been able to find the right size latches! Thank you!

This is a great reproduction item and will do the job but it is not a solid brass reproduction item. It is steel and feels different. If you want to pay three times as much for solid brass construction and you are very particular to details I would not recommend you purchase this item. It works great for me but if I were doing a reproduction kitchen or bathroom remodel I would go with solid brass.

I had been looking for a product that would match the overall period of my semi craftsman home that was built in 1930. I also did'nt want to pay through the nose for a small piece. I finally found what I was looking for after scouring the internet @ House of Antiques! The latch fit perfectly and was a breeze to install. The price wasn't so bad either And the metal finish matched perfectly with similar items that were already present in my home. House of Antiques and me- a perfect fit!

We purchased these latches to replace the shiny brass ones that we put on our cabinets six years ago because we could not find ones that would match our existing latches. We are so glad that we were able to find ones that match our old 1927 farmhouse latch finish and style so our addition looks more like our original kitchen.

This reproduction was an uncanny match to the original which was 100 years old.

I bought these latches for a cabinet in my garage where I keep my Model T Ford. I won't open it much so all I really wanted was appearance with some quality. I am delighted with the quality of these latches. They work well and look very good. I wouldn't put them on a daily use cabinet but for occasional use I think they will be fine.
