Transitional Victorian Mechanical Door Bell In Solid Brass

Unlike my several previous door bells, I can finally HEAR it. The only con is that visitors mostly do not understand that this is a door bell, and the key needs to be turned - you will need a sign telling them to turn it to ring the bell.

This beautiful doorbell has a rich brass finish and adds so much character to my Victorian mahogany front door! I wish I had more doors to use it with!

The only bad feature was that installation was for a door, and in our case, the original doorbell was through the wall and woodwork. with a little ingenuity, we were able to make it work.

Our very old building had been through many door bells that last about a year. As a new volunteer, I looked at the problem and remembered my Grandmother's house and the doorbell we loved to play with. I suggested it to the store, found it on this site, installed it without a hitch and it has become the best addition ever to this old business. The price is so nominal. You should raise your prices guys. I'm very happy with this purchase.

A unique way of hearing someone at your door. A distinctive touch to my entryway. Often, being on the second floor of my townhouse, I do not hear the doorbell....this was a great solution in that the sound resonates with a pleasing sound. Very pleased with this product.

We purchased this bell 5 years ago for our built in 1860 house. Unfortunately, it broke 5 years and 2 months after installation. But, I liked it so much, that we simply purchased a new one to replace the old one. I hope that it lasts longer this time. It is made in India and not overly expensive.
