The enduring beauty of P & F Corbin's Lorraine-Pattern Mortise Entry Set (2 1/2-Inch Backset) makes this a wonderful choice for your new or vintage home. The circa 1900 design is faithfully recreated on the stamped-bronze back plates and matching bronze knobs, then finished to perfection with subtle, coppery highlights – just like the antique originals.
Door set dimensions: Doorknobs measure 2 1/4" in diameter. Back plates measure 11 1/8" H x 3 1/8" W and project 1/8".
Mortise lock dimensions: Backset is 2 1/2". Lock case: 5 5/8" H x 3 9/16" W x 13/16" T. Lock face plate: 8" H x 1 1/4" W. The brass strike plate measures 4 7/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide with a 5/8" tongue projection.
This set is designed to fit doors from 1 5/8" to 1 7/8" thick. It includes a heavy-duty mortise lock with stop buttons, no-egress, a 1" cylinder and two standard keys.
Backset: On a lock or latch, it is the distance from the front of the face plate to the center of the knob hub. On the door, it is from the edge of the door to the center of the door knob. Learn about hardware >
