Redid my kitchen in craftsman style with quarter sawn white oak, motawi tiling and the outlets look incredible!

Though these electrical outlet plates require that your outlet cases be slightly ""sunken"" in the wall, they are beautiful and add such a great touch to our craftsman house. We found other outlet plates that were 5 times more expensive and had the same nice look. Why pay more?

i remodeled a 1985 townhome and added the outlet plate covers; door knobs and backplates & telephone plate overs. i am so thrilled with the results and it was easy and inexpensive to add a look of luxury to our new home.

Beautiful, solid plate which transformed my rooms from ok to unique. This plate pulled together many kitchen and living room features. The weight is substantial and the craftsmanship is uniquely gorgeous. I'm happy to have ordered these items. There is nothing cheap nor flimsy about this plate. It is well worth the cost. They have made my interior home stand out in character and beauty. Item is flat against wall and runs narrow, so measure and plan for that.

Used these plates as well as switch cover plates throughout the living spaces of our home.

Unlike their contemporary equivalents, these places are not relieved on the back. There is no space for the fins of the electrical device and back box. So the plate will stand proud of the wall. If the box/device install is not perfectly in plane with the wall, the plate will not make up for this and gap behind the plate will vary accordingly.

Must have your electrical box at same depth in the wall as the drywall, or if not, must be slightly recessed. If not, the plate sticks out from the wall. Drywall work may be necessary to get a nice flush finish. This is not a problem with the product being review but rather a problem with quality workmanship from the original electrician or drywaller.
