4" Universal Doorknob Spindle - 20 TPI

I had to have these cut down a bit, but when I did, they worked perfectly on my glass doorknobs.

It was just what I have been looking for, I didn't think they made them any more. I expect to purchase more in the future.

This will do the trick for any old doorknobs you are upgrading/installing. Plenty of tapped screw holes, and the threads work well too. Just have to cut to size and install!

Ok, so I found some old brass knobs to replace worn out parts on doors at my rentals, but the spindles were shot. You try and find them and keep your sanity! House of Antique Hardware had exactly what I needed to complete the repairs. I didn't have to either replace the locksets with incorrect replacements or toss those beautiful old doors completely. The spindles replace every type of spindle that I ran across. Amazing!

Shorter spindles are really hard to find. You can find 5"" in many places, and I really needed 3.5"" but the 4"" are working great in my 102 year old house.

thanks for helping us to find quality parts for these antique door knobs the larger stores in our area had substandard replacement parts and in some cases no parts at all which would have led us to replace the doorknobs with cheap knock offs. thanks again.
